The municipal center

Project name : The Municipal Center
Location : Ben Arous, Tunisia
Period of achievement : As part of a national competition for the construction of a municipal car park in Ben Arous, the mission requested was a functional municipal park that can contain a large number of machines. The constraints were the integration of the building into its industrial environment, while respecting the predefined budget and the program which was very busy. In relation to the space and the requirements of the client, the deadline was very limited. We have composed and harmonized the architecture of two different periods which represent the history and the future of the city of Ben Arous. The objective was to design an attractive building with a contemporary architectural language and a coherent and functional spatial composition, while integrating this project into its contemporary architecture. We have created a well-secured, energy-autonomous building that respects the environment.
